In 1999, Manchester United was the first club in the UK to permanently install a full pitch perimeter of rotating banner system. OMM provided this technology to the club along with printing all the banners that were inserted into the machines and providing match day operations.
During this time, OMM had evolved into a LED technical consultancy and so they engaged us to use our 4D process to advise on choosing a new LED technology partner. OMM worked closely with both the commercial and the stadium team to define a specification for the new system, which exceeded UEFA guidelines, to deliver the most highly specified, tallest system in Europe.
Outcome
OMM has attended every match at Old Trafford since August 1999.
We program managed the entire installation process to deliver the 1m tall system. Once trained on the system, we have operated, serviced, maintained, and created content for the system.
Manchester United has also turned to OMM for the provision of advisory services for the mid-tier scoreboards. In addition, much of the large format print inside the stadium bowl have been delivered and installed by our team.
Pre-Production

Define We work closely with all stakeholders to define the full range of objectives for any project.
Develop created an RFP that was sent out to a number of companies.
Decide We collate all the information returned in the RFP including specification, commercial terms, relevant experience, references, and case studies and present all the RFP returns, with executive summaries, to the club/organisation for appraisal and ultimately, decision making.
Deliver Once the winning candidate has been chosen, OMM advises on and manages the entire process from design through a programme of acceptance testing, delivery, and final installation of the project.
