The November issue of SLAM Magazine was the golden ticket to an unforgettable AR experience. Readers scanned a QR code on the first page to watch Penny Hardaway and Lil’ Penny’s legendary basketball match come alive in augmented reality. Using image markers fans could scan the advert and witness a playful one-on-one match unfold on top of the magazine.

This vibrant campaign reimagined the classics for today’s audience, blending the spirit of the past with cutting-edge AR technology. Fans could also access the activation via the Nike app, Nike.com, and social media channels, ensuring accessibility for audiences beyond the magazine. A 360-degree view of the Nike Air Penny 2 concluded the AR experience linking directly to purchase, seamlessly connecting nostalgia to Nike’s e-commerce experience.
