Nike’s Membership team briefed us on creating an online shareable experience that would bring Nike’s member community together over the course of the week.

Customisable Photo Moment

Take the Challenge - consumers are invited to add filters & stickers to their snaps to make them pop. Real Nike Members introduce Lifestyle, Sport or Community challenges for you to take part in. Putting their best self forward, consumers stepped up to take a snap of their response to the challenges.

Community Gallery

Participants were invited to share their photos with the community, allowing other Nike Members to give top photos a boost using one of four emojis. Members could vote, and the top 50 each day would be selected to appear on the Nike Member Week gallery in-store.

Pre-production

Daily In-Store Content Updates

The best photos from the last 24 hours were displayed on Nike Store screens throughout Europe. Nike Members earned daily shoppable vouchers for their standout submissions, which could be redeemed online or in-store.

Technology

Photocapture & Microsite Development

The development team tackled a mammoth task to ensure the entire system functioned seamlessly. This included front-end React development, researching and testing viable photo and video capture frameworks, and substantial back-end development to manage anonymous consumer data alongside a tracked voting system.
